ACI Competitive Intelligence Scholarship 2008 Full Certification Competitive Intelligence Scholarship Now Available
On February 1, 2002, the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive
Intelligence (ACI) announced the first full scholarship for its
Competitive Intelligence Professional certificate program.The
scholarship is open only to those currently unemployed CI professionals
looking to advance their careers in the field of competitive intelligence
by enabling them to complete the full ACI certification program.
The scholarship will allow one student each semester to attend
all nine of the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence
courses. The scholarship covers all course fees and materials
costs for the award recipient (exclusive of travel and lodging expenses,
paid for by the student).

mail it, along with a letter of recommendation from a current or

The final postmark for all applications for the Spring 2009 semester
is February 1, 2008, final postmark for the Fall 2008 semester
is July 31, 2008. No notification will be sent to indicate applications
have been received. However, applicants who wish to be notified
that ACI has received the application may enclose a stamped self-addressed
envelope. ACI is not responsible for lost or stolen applications.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of quality and
creativity in their essay, as well as recommendations received.
Initial selection of recipients is made by ACI. Selection of final
winners is made by a committee of ACI faculty. All applicants agree
to accept the decision of this committee as final.
Obligations
Acceptance of a scholarship constitutes permission for ACI to use
the recipient’s name and photo for publicity purposes. Recipients
will be required to provide photos.
